Well I looked around and all I saw was the 11 inch (their site blows), and some dude on here complaining about his clutch exploding and not getting a refund.

I managed to put 40k miles on my LS7 since installing it in 06. It still has a tendency to roast the tires off launch on command and I run 315 wide streets.

If anything its my tires that are going quicker than the clutch, anything more than half throttle will give me a "slipping clutch" feel, but the rearview mirror shows where I've been slipping aka the tires. Suspension can play tricks on your mind.

I have only 23,000 miles on my 2001 SS w/ bolt ons currently at 340hp. I plan on purchasing the LS7 clutch kit, since the stock clutch has been slipping at the track for a while. I guess I will be getting the Slave too, but do I need a new master? My pedal feels fine and have very low miles on original master.

No, you shouldn't need the master. Its no really a preventative maintenance part, and you 2001 already has the good one

So the recommendation is to get an LS7 Clutch kit, Clutch Pilot Bearing and Slave Cylinder? Is there any other parts recommended for a slipping clutch?

Nope. You got it.

I forgot to put my Pilot Bearing in and it still works fine.
