Is there any reason not to go with a 2 or 3 disk clutch ? Whats the down sides to a 2 disk or more clutch?

Not really that confusing...

We are a relatively new clutch company (new to this forum ). Slohawk approached us on becoming a dealer, and, we added them to our network. Monster Clutch Co. is owned by me, not SNL. We are doing what any clutch company does, sell to other shops/vendors.

Hope that helps.

Sounds good man, let me know when you are ready to buy.

LOL, that's the same thing my web guy said... we'll keep it in mind.

There isn't really a downside besides this;
  • They are more money.
  • They are overkill.

Pretty much, with the exception of these two things, our twin and triple units are great!

are the tq/hp ratings measured at the flywheel or at the tires? also which of your clutches would you say is most comparable to the textralia exo-skel I am running now so far as holding power is concerned?

I just looked at your "Monster" website and wascurious about your Triple Disc setup. My new build is consiting of a 6 speed along with the LSX block and the EZ94mm billet turbo. Looking for 12-1400rwhp. Is this clutch worthy ?
Have you sold many of the triple disc setup's? If so any feedback on this setup? Thanks,Chris

I'm running the level 3. During the first 200 miles of break in it had a little chatter but now it has none. The pedal pressure is a tad stiffer but gives a more predictable feel. It's very streetable.

Thank you! We've got a few guys on this board that are running my setup, we have even more on the LS1GTO board.

They are measured at the rear tires.

I'm not sure the rating on the Tex twin...

Our triple is still being tested in a car that makes 1150 rwhp, so far, so good. My problem is trying to find someone who makes that kind of hp and actually drives their car...

Well, you don't to worry about me "not" driving my car!LOL
Here a vid of me with my old twin setup making 920rwhp to the ground. I had a Mcleod twin disc with this setup. I had made 1089rwhp with that old setup.

Welcome Monster Clutch! I was gonna go with a Tex oz700 z grip when my clucth goes...but you're the better deal and you're made in USA. So when I'm in the market for a clutch...I'll be buying one of your level III clutches.
Also...Is there any advantage to going with a lighter flywheel in a street car?

I did not realize who you were... I absolutely LOVE that video of you beating that Cobra!!!!

I'd be more than happy to let you be another tester of our triple, I'm glad to have found someone that actually daily drives their car and make that much hp.

I appreciate the generosity!

From our testing we found that the setup we have is easier to drive, nets better times, and lasts longer than a light weight flywheel setup. We have the option, it's just not something I would recommend.

3700lbs car that is putting out roughly 520rwhp I would recommend our Level 3, it's a great street clutch that will take a beating!
