Reverse lockout problems.
Sometimes it let's me into reverse when I am driving and I grind gears. You Guys think my solenoid is bad or my computer? Just did an ls7 clutch a few weeks ago and I am woundering if my connection is bad. It did this before I changed the clutch as well.
I know my post my be comfusing sorry for that.
**UPDATE**
So I noticed now when driving on at any speed it will let me into the reverse slot. (like the solenoid doesn't even work) I don't push it into gear obviously.
Im gonna go ahead and start checking circuits here tomorrow.
Thoughts? I also have a question and I am going to have to take a picture to describe it to you guys so I will get that up tomorrow.

All the Computer does it ground out the Circuit and complete it, allowing the Solenoid to open and let you get into Reverse. As soon as you turn the Key on, the Solenoid should open. Normally it should be closed.
Whats weird is that when my key is off it will go into reverse but with my friends car it will not let you into reverse with the key off.
Ar far as getting into Reverse, try guiding the Shifter up next time with your palm instead of putting it where you think 5th would be and see what it does. It should go right into 5th..

If you switched these , reverse would have reduced load except when it got the 12V signal. This is true only if you swapped the solenoids not just the wiring.Swapping the wiring will get a different set of probs.
Reverse has a black plug/ skip has a white plug. Also ,the harness plugs should have black & white coloring.
