Default couple t56 realted questions

my tranny mount bolt holes got stripped out. i guess i used the wrong bolts and when i tried to torque them down they stripped.

so im going to helicoil them and get noe bolts. but im not sure what the oem bolt size is. if you know the threads and the length of the bolt that would be great.

also im trying to solve some engagement issues with my lt1 clutch. ive come to the conclusion that i need a flywheel shim. but i dont know how much the flywheel has been machined. so i need to know the oem thickness of an lt1 flywheel and also the minimum thickness would be helpful as well.

thanks in advance

The bolt holes are 10mm x 1.5 thread pitch. Theyre the same as the bolts that hold the tranny to the bellhousing.

I've got an LT1 flywheel so I can take a measuremnt off of it and let you know tomorrow.
