Lots of people have tried this method, but I prefer a power bleeder.

I am trying this method right now, but it seems to be taking a really long time for the air to come out. Also the clutch pedal is right to the floor and will not come back right now. It just seems like what it was doing before to a real extreme. I think once the air is out and I fill the resvoir completely full it should just suck fluid back down the line and work fine after I hope.

How is more fluid able to get down the line if the fitting is wedged into the port? I like the open bleeder then depress pedal close bleeder let pedal up method. It pushes more volume and alows the system to bleed faster.

the fluid returns after you release teh pressure.

you have to be careful not to pull too much vacumn, as its been discussed that it can ruin your seals in the master and slave.

i've done it on my car a few times. seems to help.

and the reverse pressure in the lines keeps the pedal from springing back up. so you just have to use your toe.
