Default twin disk gto

looking for some input on a great twin disk setup for my gto. im in the process of building a 402 d1sc setup and it going to be street drivin and hopefully very reliable. so im in the market for a great clutch for the money and something thats got a great reputation in the ls world.

ok so the mcleod is a great setup so the RXT does not come with the flexplate or the adj. master

tex twin is also a great setup, between the 2 I dont think you can go wrong

the mcleod is cheaper and i've heard good things on it. Should be ordering it soon. any suggestions on where to order from. speed inc. has it

mcleod i heard was terrible on drivetrains since its very harsh engagement... heard textralia was very driveable. not sure on monsterclutches.com just heard about them yesterday. textralia and monsterclutch's twin-disk are pretty similarly priced

Send Ryne@CMS a PM, he has a GTO with a twin disc but its a APS Carbon twin disc.He could give you some info for sure though, his goat has a 434ci and was running 10.1 on the old slipping clutch.

I'm running the RST in my GTO, its great on the street, light pedal, holds everything on the street, the track, it didn't like 800ft/lbs tq too well.

would recommend a RXT for your setup, if the tracks stayed open I would have installed and tested on mine.

If you get the Mcleod, pay extra and get the MIBA lining. otherwise look at the twins and triples at www.monsterclutch.com.
I'm looking into these. My Tex twin isn't holding up to my power.
