Default noob question

how can you tell if you have stock hurst or just a regular stock shifter

stock shifters have a huge pull between gears ....hurst has a much shorter throw

The base of the shifter is about 3/8" thick on the Hurst shifter. The stock shifter base is very think (about 1/16" inch). You can peek under the car up to the shifter area, or remove the console and check it from the top.
