Question Buy a used clutch?

Im needing a new clutch and was just wondering if buying a used one is a good idea? and if I do buy used what do I want to look for when looking at the pictures of the clutch/flywheel etc. before buying?

I have sold 3 used clutches in the past and LS6, LS7 and a used Tex single disc. All looked like brand new and have not had 1 complaint about any of them.

Just get all the info and pics you can... you can never be too safe with used performance parts.

Honestly man, it's hard to say... if it were me I just wouldn't do it, but, there has been some good that has come from buying used performance parts so I try to be unbiased.

I'd like to get you taken care of on the clutch...

Agreed, there are PLENTY of cheap clutches that can get you by.

Unless you know the car and know the driver and inspect the plates, then MAYBE. I wouldnt do it for any less then a Tex oz700.
