Yes mine had the thick billet bracket. No additional road noise or heat. $339. I am using it with an old single disc McLeod also and it works great. Nice firm pedal...

Old thread but I just want to say I helped put 1 of these master cylinders in yesterday and it was all done within 45 minutes. It was a lot easier then most are making it out to be. If you have someone on the inside of the car pull the adjustment part of the MS through the firewall it is easy. Granted we used a speed bleeder to get all the air out of the system so I'm sure that saved a lot of time (Remote bleeder up top). This thing works wonders on the Pedal. I cant believe how good this thing works. I cant wait to get one installed on mine which will be very soon.

I might upgrade mine when I pull the trans in the next couple months. I'd also do the remote bleeder for ease of bleeding at the same time.

Have had mine installed for two days and 200 miles. Combined with the MGW shifter and LS7 clutch, I'm driving a whole different car.

You ever think about doing a group purchase? I'm sure a lot of people would be in on it if you did.

Yeah good idea. I'm going to be in the market for a master cylinder, slave, and remote bleeder soon.

This makes me feel better. Got the Tick master in last week. I have a complete stock setup besides the master and a pro 5.0 on a 95,000 mile camaro. The tick master is SOOO much better, but I'm still having very slight problems getting into gear quick at redline. I've got an LS7 clutch, remote bleeder, and new slave going on the car soon, and that should help the problem. I think the main problem is bleeding, I bench bled the master before install and then used a mighty vac. When I install the remote/speed bleeder, I will KNOW there is no air in there!

I haven't really pushed mine yet. Engine has only about 1400 miles on it, and I want the clutch to be properly broken in. The remote bleeder was definitely worth the price. Only issue I ran into was the P0704 code for the cruise control switch, but Joey helped me figure that out this morning.

Default tick master help

I have a 86 iroc with a ls2 t-56 swap and want to get the tick master cylinder. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone running this in a third gen or if someone can tell me how far this comes off the firewall. Some measurements would help. I want to see if it will fit before i order. Thanks

There is a GP... should be right close to this post. If only my clutch would've gone out like 2 weeks later.

To the OP, what's your engagement point at? Mine is currently very close to the top, maybe slightly before the brake pedal coming up. I think it's in the right place just a lot different then my old stocker. Though my stocker would likely make someone cringe who knew what a good clutch was.
