Greetings everyone

I replaced the clutch hydraulic system in my 94 camaro. installing the system, I just left the little retainer on the slave, bolted everything and then pressed the pedal and hear the retainer was cut. Then the pedal was really musshi and easy to get to the floor...when I looked for something wrong I saw some brake fluid going out the bellhousing.

Could you please tell me what I did wrong?

LT1? sure the fork was in all the way?
The slave should be external on that on the drivers side lower bell housing.

 

The car was running but leaking a little bit form the braided line. So I ordered the new master and slave and just installed them. I didnt look for the fork since I thoufht the plastinc retainer on the slave was there to aling the parts.
