Default down shifting... pls respond. thx

just had a quick question... what is better or less wear on a clutch when downshifting? say if i were in 6th gear and i want to down shift into 4th or
3rd... is it better to rev match or just to put it in gear and let the clutch out softly or slowly... let me knows what your opinons are please.. thanks

You don't want to constantly go from 6th to 3rd. Always Rev Match... without a doubt... it's less strain on ur tranny/engine.

As long as you rev match... it's not SO bad. But don't do it all the time. Ideally 6th to 5th is the right downshift... lol.

As long as you're correctly rev-matching, downshifting doesn't hurt anything. If you don't rev match, you're putting your synchros and clutch through hell.
