I just bought a 97 z/28 with a 6-speed. I have only had it for a week and i am already wanting to get rid of the "skip shift". What is the easiest way to get rid of this. I already looked at LS1speed.com but i dont know which transmission i have.

You have a T56 6-speed. The skip-shift is just a plug-in resistor.
