Default New slave?

I just put in a new spec 2 clutch and installed a new master cylinder (made it adjustable with the drill mod). Clutch was doing great, put about 300 miles on it then went out and tried to launch. First launch was ok, did about a 3200 launch and I was pretty pleased. Next day I tried it again, and it slipped like crazy. I let off and it caught hard so I got back in the pedal, shifted into second pretty quick and it started slipping AGAIN. I have noticed that when I am in a gear I can floor it and it will not slip, it is only when I am either launching or shifting that it slips. I have not tried to adjust the pedal down yet but I feel like that is not the problem. I replaced the slave about 10k miles ago and it has been fine but it is the only thing left that is not new. Anyone had any thing like this happen? The fluid is fresh and bled very well btw. The fluid was pretty dark before I changed it all so could the old fluid have messed up the slave? Please help, I am going to the track in only a few weeks!!!

you should drive your car normal for "at leaset 500 Miles" before launching it hard with a full throttle, Read SPEC instructions that came with the clutch.

i've never had a clutch that took more than a couple hundred miles to break in though

Does your clutch need a spacer? I've read on here that some aftermarket clutches may require a spacer to prevent premature clutch slippage.

i think it b/c you blinker fluid is low. no man just keep all your races to a one gear pull, with those 2.73 that should be easy. lol j/k go get that bada** clutch from savannah clutch and call it a day, then you can take it back to the drag strip and break it in.

its starting to feel a little better now. I adjusted the pedal down a little to see if it needed more extension when I am letting off the clutch but I went too far so tomorrow I am going to adjust it back out a little more. I really think it just needed to break in a little more. If it doesn't get any better within another 300-400 miles its coming out. Thanks for your hand so far though, we definitely know how to change one out now!
