Default Quick tailshaft housing question

I looked in the T56 rebuild FAQ, but it didn't completely answer my question.

I'd like to remove the tailshaft housing while the transmission is still in the car. I need to know if anything other than fluid will come puking out?

Anytime I see the tailshaft housing being removed, the transmission is sitting upright on the bellhousing. This is not going to be the case in my situation.

Thanks for the advise,
~Jason

Nothing should come flying out.. The shift forks hold everything in place as is..

Sorry, if it makes any difference: 2002 T56.

So, remove driveshaft and shifter, unbolt tailshaft housing and slip it straight off?

yup.. You'll have to remove the shifter offset lever after taking off the shifter.. (Watch the roll pin doesn't go into the main case)
