That's very interesting!

Is it possible that the Rhino slave is helping with peddle feel and smooth shifting ?

Forgive my ignorance but I'm guessing this is a superior slave to the
stock GM slave.

I'm doing searches now. lol

That is very encouraging.
I ordered my LS7 clutch kit, it will arrive this monday.
I think I made the right choice.

I have new GM hydraulics but I might upgrade the slave.

You won't be disappointed. My CETA was a full bolt-on, head and cam car with a 150 shot to boot and I never had a single issue with the clutch. Even shifting at 6700

It's good to know I finally made a good clutch decision.
My Spec-01 lasted less than 1000 miles.

Mine still feels like it dead against the floor, like there might be more air in the lines but it was bled A LOT. New slave and the master MIGHT have about 20K on it, everything else that comes with the typical package from SDPC was done as well.

Now that's not what I wanted to hear. lol

The GM hydraulics can be a real pain sometimes.

The LS7 pressure plate has a bit more clamping force over the
stock LS1/LS6 clutch. It's possible that even the latest upgraded
LS1 hydraulics are not really designed for the LS7 clutch.

Sometimes I wonder if that is the reason for low peddle LS7 clutch installs. Than other times there are successful LS7 clutch installs with stock GM hydraulics.

That's why I asked the questions about the hydraulics, in one my post above.

Finally got the break in period! I was cruising on the highway and dropped it into third. This thing grabbed really hard, no slipping. I have yet to take off from a dig, but so far so good. Im impressed.

That tick m/c sounds like good stuff. I bought one from a member that got in the group buy and decided to go auto.
