Another Successful LS7 clutch install....
Well, just got it done this afternoon and i have nothing but good things to say about this clutch. I had no issues what so ever with the install and afterwards it just grabbed like nothing. It did catch fairly low, but i expected that from reading other peoples experience. The twenty mile drive home was smooth.....I highly recommend it.

Mine only took about 15 miles before it started to grab right about where it should. I have heard of other people having to put about 100 miles on them before it begain to grab a little higher. Mine seems good so far and I like it a lot. Keep us updated on how it is doing!

Good stuff! I like mine and it did grab right off the floor at first. I would say it was a 100 miles before it backed off and didn't grab so low. An LS7 retains OEM pedal feel with smooth operation but still grips hard, hard enough to snap a stock driveshaft soon after I got mine installed.

Well, the pan isnt leaking as bad as i though it would be so I have been driving it around to break in the clutch. So far I have about 250 miles on it and it feels like normal again. Feels solid. I should get my oil pan by tuesday of next week.

Yeah Ive had my LS7 in for about 2years now. It was a great clutch for street action but with the sticky tires and the track it started to slip pretty bad. But still held at my power level. Great clutch for the money.

You should swap out your stock rod bolts with ARP's while you have that pan off. Have fun dude, you've got to drop the K member down to get the pan off too so if you're running stock motor mounts, you should upgrade to some prothanes too!

Ive dropped the pan before so this time should go quicker. I already have prothane motor mounts on the car. Not gonna spend the money on this one for rod bolts. I dont rev it that high, 63k max. Ive got bout 300 miles on the clutch now. Couple hundred more to see what it can do .

I got it from Byunspeed. It came out to $487 shipped to the door. I think SDPC has it cheaper right now. Check em out. I went with Byunspeed becasue I have credit there and it wasnt too much more.
