Ram Master Cylinder vs McCloud Master vs Tick Performance
What do you guys think. I have all of the symptoms of needing a new master. hard to shift into gear and high rpm's, almost impossible to get into reverse without starting the car in reverse. now I already have done the drill mod but that didnt solve the problem. now it is the stock Master Cylinder and it has 119k miles on it. so please anyone with better knowledge about tranny's please chime in. Which one have you used. what success have you had or failure with the three manufacturers. Also to note I have a McCloud Clutch.
thanks

Ive had great success with the ram unit in the past, but at the end of the day its still an adjustable stock unit. At the time it was all that was available as the McLeod had nothing but issues. Based off of what you said though, I would go with the Tick unit.

I recently had LMR put in a Tick, and it works great. According to them, it is the easiest to pre-install, install, and adjust. They recommended it over the RAM bcuz of these reasons.

RAM is just a stocker that is adjustable. I put 32k on my stock one and then replaced it with a RAM and have 30K on it and its toasted. I just got in on the Tick performance group purchase. By the way the price is 299.00 plus 9.99 for shipping and they come with a free remote bleeder. My advise is to spend the extra money and do it right the first time. Good luck!

Ived owned a
Stock *of course lol
Ram
Tick
The only one I havent was Mcloed but like said at the time there was a bad ratio of good units to faulty ones.
Stock wasnt up to the task
Ram is a stock cyl with a welded adj. rod end which in the end even fully adjusted out didnt allow the clutch to do it's job and it dragged.
Tick w/ the proper adjustment does the job and I can do full powershifts.
I fully recommend the tick unit.
