Default Luk Stg. 2 clutch

the car i just bought supposedly has a Luk Stg. 2 clutch. i was wondering if anyone had any information on this clutch, as far as holding capacity or anything else. thanks.

Its probably the Pro Gold series . If so , its about inline with the LS6 stuff .

so its no better than stock? because the 01-02 cars had LS6 clutches in them stock.

i find it hard to beleive if i buy the OEM replacement Luk clutch, its going to be weaker than stock. its gotta be better than the LS6 stuff.

Yup, i had a Luk clutch in my car when I went to replace it with a tex. Didn't know it was there, and it didn't hold ****.

Actually, i had it replaced down in Lima! haha.

Why? I'd bet it's just a factory replacement. LS6 clutch holds factory power fine. Luk makes a good OEM piece, but thats about it.

Thats what I put in stock E39 M5s upon replacement.
