happy with pro 5.0 shifter length?

i had a pro 5.0 in my old mustang and loved it, so i went with one for my ss. you guys made up my mind, i just ordered a umi short stick

Good call. When I got my pro 5.0 the stick looked way too long so I bought the umi short stick and cut a little bit off. I have the hurst white ball on mine without the jamb nut and it works nicely.

Hey mrhzk35404 can you post a picture of yours by chance???? How did you keep the hurst ball tight without the jamb nut? Loc-Tite?
Im afraid if I go too short Ill have to reach for it too much. I have long *** arms (Im 6'4) but with how far back my seat is, its still a bit of a reach.
