i recently did a motor swap an now when get on it, at high speeds my clutch pedal will stay to the floor an i cant shift into 4th. an in order for it to work again i have to put it in nuetral an pull the pedal up an then keep pushing it in an out til it works again. What can caust this issue. it is very frustrating cause now i cant race my car at all. clutch still grips great an doesnt slip ever. thanks

 

try flushing the fluid then hitting it with a mityvac. Same thing happens to mine when the fluid breaks down. I get around 6 months worth before it gets to this.

 

Sounds like a hydraulic problem . Could try doing the drill mod on the master, if that fails could be the slave
Cylinder.

 

ok, thanks. i thought maybe it just wasnt bled all the way but wanted to get some input befor i did anything. But what do u mean by drilling the cylinder?

 

I was having the same problem, but mine was with 3rd and 4th gear. My slave cyl was shot. I replaced it along with the clutch, LS7/LS2, and no more shifting problesm. This is the first time since I've owned the car(2+ years) I've been able to full on race without having some sort of shifting issue
