When I shift at high rpm the clutch will be on the floor before I go to shift. Any solutions? Car has ls7 clutch and new master.

Could be a few problems....heat soak/fluid. Drill mod stock MC performed? New clutch or old? Could be a PP problem if older clutch.

99, it is probably easiest to check the fluid in the reservior as a first step to assessing this issue. If it is dark or discolored/cloudy then you need to flush it and refill it. You can also check the routing of the hydraulic lines to insure that they are in fact passing behind the heat shield as they route past the headers (especially if you have long tubes). If the lines are not being the shield then re-route them and wrap them in heat resistent wrap before doing so. Let us know what you find and we can proceed with more tech info. Thanks,

Driving around normal it feels fine. However anytime i go past 6k or so its hard for me to shift in to the next gear no matter what gear, and the clutch will be stuck to the floor before I even go to shift. Anytime I take the rpm's up pretty much sticks in before I shift. I would really like some help on this. The fluid was black so I thought it was my master and had that replaced and still same thing. When the clutch was installed ls7 so was a new slave help? Clutch doesn't slip at all.

I appreciate that the Master is new and that the slave was replaced when the clutch was installed but, if the original master had an issue it could have buggared the slave. Or if the system hadn't been fullly bled when the slave or master were originally replaced this too could have lead to an issue. There is just very little other than a hydraulic issue that could lead the pedal to stick to the floor. I know this doesn't give you a difinitive cause, but as you can imagine it is darn near impossible to pin-point a hydraulic issue via information provided on-line. In fact as many of you know it can be just as bad trying to trouble-shoot this system with the car sitting in front of you.

I agree. Since fluid has been changed and bled, and you have new MC (and assuming you changed the slave and it is new (9K miles) You either:
1)Need to perform the drill mod to your stock MC or
2)Buy an aftermarket MC

Now, I do have another question.....has this done this ever since you put in your clutch? OR did it JUST start to happen. If it has done it since day 1 with teh new clutch, I would say definite hydraulic issue (known problems with our cars, especially MC not pushing enough fluid to shift at higher RPM's)

BUT, I would not rule out the PP either if this JUST started to happen.

To anwser some questions... I got my car back from the shop heads/cam/clutch/slave and motor replaced, It hasn't been all that hard of 9k miles I broke it in, never really launched on it. Then a coupe months after that the clutch held fine the whole time no sticking issues that I had stock then out of no where it happend and I saw the fluid was black so I thought the master went out and replaced that. Same problem still with new master and bleeding it.

Have you checked the routing of your hydraulic lines? I mentioned that previously but wasn't sure of your response. If miss-routed, you could see recuring aeration as a result of boiling.
