Changing Manual Transmission & Rear Differential fluid question
98 Camaro Z28 with 75,500 miles. Bought used 3 years ago with 61,000 miles. I have put about 15,000 miles on the car now and I'm debating on changing these fluids.
How often, if ever do you change the fluid?

Too many variables to give a "concrete" answer, BUT, under normal driving, tranny fluid every 25-50K miles, rear end @ 75K-100K miles.
Now, under extreme heat, and or abuse, you should step those up a bit. Under abuse/extreme heat, tranny fluid once a year is a good rule of thumb. Rear end fluid @ 50K.
As easy as it is to change both, no reason really NOT to change them out on a regular basis though, and on my DD's (truck and wife's jeep) I change tranny fluid every other year which comes out to @ 25-30K miles on our vehicles and the diff oil every other tranny service
