They make the 6 speed manuals for the F250 and up. They also started making the GM 6 speeds after New Venture Gear Co. went under. ZF also supplies transmissions to the Ford GT super car, BMW and other high end European made vehicles.

I know they make several automatics as well but I do not mess with any autos so I can tell you what they produce.

When I was at the L.A. autoshow this year, they had a cutaway model of the new F-150 6 speed auto. It looked real nice and it was Ford's first 6 speed auto for the F-150. I'll never know if it was a ZF or New Venture Gear.
This was back in January 2009.

Not to get off Topic... but that F150 is one hell of truck all the way around.

I just always thought they were 80lbs.
