Goodbye Slippage

Spec S3 clutch came in yesterday, installing saturday in the driveway

...but I am hoping to get access to a hoist instead. Either way I am stoked

. The clutch has been slipping BAD this year, and I couldn't take it anymore. Just wasn't even fun driving the car lightly. If I read right, I DO need to shim it?

ahhhh, the ol flask of goodness. There is a great thread on measureing for the shim (some need it, some dont), and here it is...

What does breaking-in the clutch entail? It recommends a breakin process of 500 miles. Can someone elaborate on this and explain what I need to avoid doing? Thanks
