Who Red powder coats their transmissions? I have a 6speed that I know is built up due to the other drive train stuff. case is powder coated bolts are not painted.
Who does this with their builds?
Any help would be great!

Is it a Tremec T56 six-speed?
RPM paints theirs black, no one power coats AFAIK. Even then, most builders would also label the unit with their logo, to further denote it.. D&D, RSgear, Keisler all leave the cases bare.
I'd suspect a custom job... YMMV

I believe it is a T56 Trying to find out wont send me a photo so hard to tell. Older guy sold it to his even older dad for no profit. Then found out what it was and now is trying to buy it back LOL. he always runs across great deals on cool **** but passed it off to his dad real fast before he knew what he had.
car was hit in the front had a DTS 9 inch rear an ls2 6.0 crate short block and the 320CFM Rectangle port heads in a trans am. I am wondering if they were ported. had SLP headers on it too with I believe a Fast 90mm intake. Unsure have not seen the engine myself.
Friend said the trans was painted read or powder coated. then assembled trying to find out more he is a little short when it comes to identifying to the N th. Now that his dad has it he cannot just go out to the garage and take a pic.
