t56 wont go into some gears! I put in a 04 gto motorset with cam into my nissan s13. My old 98 motor and t56 were great.
while the engine is off I can shift transmission through all gears. When I start it and let it idle I can only go into 1st, 4th, 6th, and reverse. I would say pilot bearing but why just those gears and not all ... I'm pretty pissed. I would assume somethings wrong with the transmission. only thing I can think of is when putting the gto shifter extension back on trans mission I did something wrong.. its pretty self explanatory on the install!
Anyone think its syncros ? This motor was from a wrecked gto... maybe something happened ? The transmission looked unharmed.

I FEEL STUPID!!! CAGS 
I have car running on a untuned pcm right now with just vats taken off. I need to remove CAGS. I haven't driven car or rev's it over the desired rpm to let me shift to 2nd. Sorry to waist forum space.
