who makes the shortest throw shifter
i am lookin for the one who has the shortest throw possible. try and make up for the extra 8" on the shifter for my truck

i know pro 5.0 claims to have the shortest throw, but MGW is new to the scene so that might have changed. you cant go wrong with either one though, they're both about the same throw.

any of them should be a vast improvement.
heck even my factory option Hurst was an improvement.
adding the short stick from Lou's was even better.
stock shifter/stick = ~8" from 1st to 2nd gear
hurst w/ lou's stic = 3.5" from 1st to 2nd gear
wish i knew the length of the sticks...i'd calculate angle and throw with your longer shift stick

see i test drove a z28 with a Pro5.0....couldn't find a gear to save my life. and that's after owning a 6spd z28 for 3 yrs with a hurst shifter already.
i think it was set too stiff or something. so i'll stick with my $50 factory unit
