As I am beginning the serious build this winter (9" w/ 4.56s on its way), I want to see how you guys set up your switches, etc for Line Lock and 2-steps. I think I'm going to go with the SJM Line Lock.
Any tips appreciated, strictly for a drag race setup. Specifics if possible!![Secret](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies3/secret2.gif)
I want the interior to look as stock as possible. I'm keeping the dash completely intact (hid my shift light in a vent). Is it possible to put everything I need in the ashtray or should I get a plate made for the tape/cd holder for better access?

I have the sjm line lock and a lpe two step. I have the line lock on a on/off switch, most have an on/off and they push a button to active the line lock. The two step is wired into the clutch and that is on an on/off switch it will only work if the clutch is all the way down on the floor board. I think I have some pic on where mine are I need to fine them.
I have a switch panel that is under the radio where the cigarette lighter is.

SJM Linelock - toggle on/off w/momentary switch in the ashtray. Turn the switch on - hit the button line lock engages.
Lingenfelter 2-step - wired to the clutch switch and a momentary inline. Clutch has to be engaged and the button pressed for the 2 step to activate. I added the momentary switch to get rid of the backfires during shifting.
The switch and buttons are all mounted in the factory ashtray.

I don't have a plate. The light and switches for the line lock are on the bottom of the ash tray. I don't have a picture. If you'ld like, I can go snap one. I also put the wires from the clutch switch on a momentary switch under the dash. That way my kids can't start it.
