I just bought the lvl 3 monster for my Trans Am and it comes with the release bearing but not the slave cylinder. Is the release bearing just the spring and tip of the slave cylinder so that it mates up to the clutch forks properly?

(which would explain why after market clutch manufacturers need to sell you the release bearing so fitment is good)

Let me get this straight all you got was the spring and the bearing?? No slave with it?? I dont know where you got it from but it should of come with the whole slave/bearing setup. I got my stg 3 from SNL and it came with a complete slave cylinder. See the image below...

I already have a new slave cylinder, which I installed in the fall. I bought my kit from ws6project. To be clear, I bought the basic kit. Which comes with the release bearing but not the slave cylinder.

If I'm correct the release bearing is just a different hat for the slave cylinder. Not sure though.

Pull the one off the end of your slave and slide the new one on.
