Default ARP thread sealer on Flywheel bolts

I have a LS1 and am installing a monster level 3, there seems to be a lot of different opinions on how to seal the threads.

The arp thread sealer part # is 100-9904 and is teflon based. The sealer stays in a liquified stated.

Has anyone used this with the flywheel bolts?

I just assumed it was the right sealant for the job..but other people are suggest a wide variety of different loctites and permatex combinations.

Those holes go right into the crankcase, so unless you run your engine with no oil then yes, there is something to be sealed in

I guess when my clutch was slipping like crazy, and I took the tranny out to find oil seeping through the bolt holes, I was seeing things then. YES you need to deal the threads here, and you will experience the worst clutch slippage imaginable.
