its not the factory hurst shifter that is a POS, its the stick. its the same stick that is used on the non hurst shifters. i have driven a few cars with the factory hurst with both the stock stick and an aftermarket shortsitck, and let me tell you, the stick makes a world of difference. i personally like the WS6store short stick. however Lou's short stick angles the stick towards the driver better.
