Default AutoZone duralast clutch kit $159.00

Anyone run this clutch on a stock 96 LT1?? Seems kinda cheap.
All I have is headers, exhaust and CAI. Should be all I need HUH??

They say when its wore out to bring it in for a new one free of charge

Call Kentucky Clutch and get an actual performance clutch for about $ 50 more.

uhhhh.............. Go with an LS7 clutch kit do it right the first time lol. Would kinda suck to pull the tranny again in a month when the $159 special breaks.

^^^^^ Missed that he has an Lt1... the going still stands that I don't think its worth it to put a cheap *** clutch in and it blows up in a month.

I agree. I would never put a cheap autozone clutch in my car not matter what. When I was just bolt-on I ran a ram powergrip hd and it was great and will give you plenty of room for more mods and it drove like stock
