Default Slave cylinder Spacer?

Anyone know where I can get a slave cylinder spacer? This is what I got going on, I got a T-56 with hays flywheel and hays clutch and the slave cylinder will not engage the clutch and I called hays and they said in some cases you need a shim to space the slave cylinder out. Has anyone ran into ths problem or know anything about this?

Measure the trans. side face of the bellhousing to the PP fingers.
Subtract the distance from the front face of the trans. to the surface of the TO brg.

If it's .050, you don't need one.

What have you done to bleed the system? Hays makes stock replacement stuff; I wouldn't jump to an assumption that their product is far off stock measurements.

A shop has been bleeing the system for me and the said they got all the air out of the system but Im not to sure that they did im thinkn about bringing it home and doing it myself cause I know I put all the parts in right. But when I called summit and told them what was going on they said in some cases Hays said you might need a shim, so I dont know exactly what I should to?
