I have my alignment tool lined up perfect, and when I get the tranny in there it stops at the throw out bearing, any suggestions??!!

I had the same prob a while back. I turned the motor over a quarter turn at a time and kept trying until it went in. Like me, your probably not as lined up as you think you are, and combined with the fact that you're not shoving the tranny in perfectly straight, the two 'wrongs' will eventually make a right, lol.

I've found that more often than not when you get to that point it is the alignment dowels to the bellhousing holding you up, not the TOB. Try buffing them up with some brillo or something to get the gunk off and putting a little grease. If the splines have gone into the clutch disk you're already into the pilot bushing.

I had that problem too..just wiggle wiggle wiggle it should go in.. then the next biggest PITA is getting the trans dow pins to go on. I just threaded some bolts then kept going around tightening loosening and repeating.

Make sure the plastic collar is at the top and just shove it in. Youll hear it click and then youre done.

Unless the connector is fucked up someway, I dont see why it would be giving you so much issue.

Open the bleeder valve to release the pressure from the slave then if your fittings are ok it will click right in.

We just when thru this last night with my Son's 2000 Camaro SS.

This. You need to relieve the pressure.

Yup, like was said, pop open the bleeder screw.. I usually plug the line in before the trans is fully in and it pops right in.
