WTF happened ?!?!? well i was drivin on the 101 crusin at around 70 mph... when out of nowhere i hear a loud boom. My center console shook and my phone which was in the cup holder went flyin. I had no clue wtf hit me. So i immediately pulled over. I checked underneath for a dropped drive shaft or a rear end that went kaboom... nothin. So i didnt think much of it. Well i go to leave and as soon as i pop the clutch and give gas.... a thundering boom is heard from the center console? but the thing is it is random,... happens after 1st shift then after 2nd shift.. then randomly. I am baflled, but its at the dealership now, i have warrenty. I think it could be the gears slippin ? but im not sure any ideas ? Thanks guys hope its nothin too serious. o btw do cutouts void warrenty ? i doubt it because zl1's have dual electric cutouts...so dunno

tranny mount, had the same thing happen to me . After a bad *** day of paintball shooting in Corona. Hopped on to the 91 frw and my shifter starts coming up from the center console, im like WTF!!!! . ,realized tranny mount broke. It scared the F*(K out of me though.
Inexpensive, $20 for the tranny mount .Jack up the tranny, pop it in, and thats it.
