Default New Ram powergrip clutch bad? or shop full of retards?

I just drove my 93 z after i got it back from the shop after they did the clutch job...to say the least im PISSED off and will not be returning to the careless bastards at TRM auto in texas...anywho, so this is a brand new RAM powergrip clutch kit...it seems to me i have to push it in waaaaay to far for it to start disengaging, and it seems like it never fully disengages, because i have to put way to much force on the shifter to get it in gear. now the last time i drove it with a brand new clutch, i berely push the pedal in its already fully disengaged, and it just fell into gear with almost no effort.

now it seems to me these ******* did something wrong (with the condition i got my car back in, this is most likely the case) maybe put the clutch disk in facing the wrong way? i dunno or this clutch kit just sucks, any info u guys have about this clutch or what these morons could have done id appreciate it.

Lol sorry man i have no clue then, Just took my car to Tick Performance and had a Monster installed and love it ! Like u say sounds like u have a Disengaging problem, I seen some where on here where it said to put your car in first hold the clutch in and rev it to the red line and if the car moves (rolls) the clutch is not disingaging properly, Make sure its on a good flat surface hope u get it fixed

ask what they TQ the PP bolts....answer is 22 ft lbs.

more than that and disengagement issues will happen. to much TQ and the clutch will not disengage at all.

You need to be careful of what kind of crap you believe on the internet, the proper torque specifications for a LS1 Pressure plate is 20,40,52 foot pounds of torque in three sequential passes.

Is TRM a sponsor? Just for the sheer amount of Texas sponsors on here, i would want to live in Texas. I don't get why you would go to any other shop when you have such an awesome choice of sponsors in Texas. Sometimes you have to travel to a good shop. It pays in the long run.

Ok I can stand up and admit I was wrong as I did not catch the part about it being a LT1, this being LS1 TECH I made a mistake and assumed it was a LSX
