send me one, and I will tell you if it can handle it.

6 monster clutches later, my car has a centerforce dfx, been in there for over a year, with 120+passes 5k miles.

So can these things handle a 7800 shift point?

I think they are probably not to far off but I dont think any of us want to rush something that takes so long to take in and out and cost as much as they do Even though I'd love to have one in my 2008 C6Z06 before racing season this year and see how great the Monster Twin Disc really is

Shouldnt be too long now. Were gearing up to start production machine work on the flywheels in the next couple weeks.
As far as pricing and release date, you'll have to ask the guys at Monster.

Thanks

6?! You mean two right?

I don't disagree that the 12 and 11 inch units are not liking anything over 7500 rpm. I've got a 7.25" twin and triple that we are working on now that the combined disc weight is 2.25 lbs which have been tested to 10,000 rpm without any disengagement issues and have held 700hp at 9800 rpm. You aren't spinning your iron block that high so we're good.

There are only a hand full of cars that are spinning that high, so, not that big of a deal. The 7.25" will be something you can daily drive, will have a guaranteed zero chatter, and will have a slightly stiffer pedal than stock.

You aren't kidding about zero chatter and not having a stiff pedal! Revs like a bike and shifts so smooth it isn't even funny Think it'll finally put my tiny 218* sleeper cam in the 10's...

Looks like Monster is abandoning the duals.

Just the 11 and 12" twins. They have decided to go down to a 7.25" disc.

I was wondering where the hell the triple disc came from that SNLPerformance previously mentioned. So, what is the ETA for the new twins and triples?

I don't think my 3.5 will hold after this winter, so I'm interested in what's going to be available for the 1000ish horsepower guys from Monster.

Steve's customer service blew me away with my current clutch, so I'll definitely be wanting to stay with a Monster.

Can someone explain me the math behind smaller clutches holding more? Why big power cars have big diameter clutches and low-power have small clutches then? You won't find 8" clutch (single) on 400+ HP engines I guess...

What the hell is going on with these?? This is probably what will replace my Textralia Exo-skel when it gives up.
