pilot bearing??

pilot bearing?? i just finished up my build and bringing it to my tuner to fix some problems i am having and finish up my car. question is the pilot bearing already installed on my new crank? i know for a fact i didnt install one. but i know i didnt take it off my old setup. im not entirely sure where it actually is? can someone help me out
Here's the pilot bearing:

It is located in the back of the crank. The end of your transmission input shaft rests inside this pilot bearing.
Did you replace or reinstall the clutch? Usually, an alignment tool is placed into the pilot bearing to hold the clutch disc in place until the pressure plate is installed.. Without your pilot bearing you would not have been able to use this tool.
