Default Should I beef up my T56???

My slave cylinder went out so I have to pull the tranny out. It shifts fine and haven't had any troubles out of it, has 107K miles and the car makes 460WHP NA and 572WHP and 618 ft lbs with a 125 shot. Would you just put the tranny back in or take it apart and beef it up before something happens...or would it with under 600WHP? I would do billet keys, bronze pads, steel 3/4 fork. What about the viper tailshaft, worth it right now...or just WAIT till I have a problem and pull the tranny out then? THANKS!! Dave.

Dave,

We are running a special on our F-body T56 transmissions right now. It sounds like our Level 5 would be right up your alley. If you send us your T56 to build we will upgrade you to a VIper mainshaft for FREE! Check it out.

Thanks!

Me personally, I would just got ahead and beef it up now. You are making a good amount of power, so it definitly wouldn't hurt getting ti gone through before something happen. A failure will probably cost more than just upgrading, and the free Viper mainshaft from RPM is a great deal. I've been running their Viper spec Level V since 06 and its been flawless!!

If you have the money to do it now, I would suggest going ahead and getting done while its a part.

Thats what I was thinking, get it done before a major failure. Just didn't know if it was good to take something apart that still works fine, lol. I do plan on a 408 supercharged motor in the future....which I never did mention.

Do the Viper mainshaft and get a good quality yoke.

What place would you go to get all the parts that I may end up needing? (supposing I don't ship my tranny to have built but do it myself/locally).
