Well? Or was it only an option. Also, for those of you with the stock hurst shifter, have any of you found it worth your while to upgrade to a hurst billet plus or MGW, or do most of you just throw a short stick on there and call it a day? Thats what i've done so far and i like it pretty good

Not sure but mine did, first thing I did was geta bm ripper cuz I didn't like the feeling of rowing a boat with the stocker, gave the stocker away cuz I didn't know it was a hurst at the time and wish I would have just got a short stick instead. Nothin wrong with the bm I just think I wasted some money when I didn't need to

Get the Pro 5.0 with LSS and be done with it. Best combo out there IMO.

don't know how you guys bang gears with such a short stick. the long stick with the hurst stock or billet lets you bang the gears with more accuracy and force. I want the throw to be short by the actual shifter not by the sticks loss of leverage.

just putin around town i like the little stick, its comfortable to lay your arm on the console. but when its time to really row, long sticks where its at.

Hurst shifter is NOT part of the WS6/SS Pkg it was a seperate option starting in `99.

Love my Billet plus with LSS.

^I was wondering the same thing

and I personally have always like short throws but longer shifters for rowing threw the gears when racing.

I have found that my actual shifts are slower with the MGW most likely due to the increased effort to shift it and the shorter stick........but Its a blast to drive and probably not banging out 6k speed shifts is gonna give my rear end a longer life.

You have to feel it to believe it. No comparison.
