Default B&M ripper

Ok i got a used ripper from a friend and it doesn't have the bolts or bump stops. Will it be ok use the stock bolts and not use the bump stops?

Ok so i read that your not supposed to use the stock bolts. What do i do?

Go to the hardware store and buy longer bolts... I wouldn't recommend using it without the stops tho. Does it have the threaded holes for the stops to thread into or does it just not have stops at all?

Yes it has the holes.

i would call B&M and see if they will sell you just the bolts and washers, I would think without the washers it would be easy to install the shifter a little "**** eyed" and have trouble shifting

Tried and they said to go and try and find them at a hardware store.

You won't find the locating washers there, that's for sure. Stock shifter bolts are M8x1.25.20, so just find something longer than that.

As far as the limiting stops, I never put mine in.

My words exactly. I just got done putting it on. I managed to get it as about straight as i can without the washers and took it for a drive with it and it felt pretty good. Im just going to leave the boots off for a little while and keep an i on it.

why do you say that? just curious since a lot of people recommend not installing them anyway
