Question Salvageable 05 GTO M12 Input shaft??(Pics)

came out of 05 GTO
the clutch pedal had slight vibration when engaging and disengaging
came to find out the pilot bearing was defective.
is this input shaft salvageable or pretty much trash?
i overhurd somone saying that it might be able to reuse it but will have to get a diff size pilot bearing and have the input shaft machined alil.
i really dont know would just like some advice please.
thank you.

It needs to be polished so it has an even surface (take down any "bumps") and measured.
Call a few machine shops and tell them what you have; they might have a pilot repair kit.
Go w/ a bronze bushing next time.

I doubt its going to clean up with just a polish. Its probably going to need to be retipped.

Yes, it can easily be re-tipped, but VERY few machine shops will do this. You really have to find the right shop/person and they really have to know what they're doing. If you're going to scrap it, then I'll buy it $30 shipped??
