You'd need to answer a couple of questions first. Street or drag (or a little of each)? Any mods? or stock? For the "lowest price" (nothing is cheap on this cars) go to the sponsor section for great deals.

IMO:

If for mostly street and only ocassionally strip, than do the Z06 clutch and drill out mod for better response in stifting at higher rpms. (drill out mod: www.installuniversity.com ) This will handle numerous 4500-5000 rmp launches and give you stock like feel (it is actually stock on newer M6).

If for street and a LOT of strip, go with the McLeod single disk, drill out mod and McLeod adjustable master. Will handle numerous 5000+ rpm launches and still very streetable.

For a lot of strip and still streetable, go with the McLeod twin, drill out, and adjustable master. Less streetable but still Ok, outstanding strip clutch.

Always change out the slave - cheap insurance. Always get a new flywheel - cheap insurance.

The 98-00 hydraulics are ok for street with "normal" shifting. Once you get in higher rpm shifting (6000+) 2nd to 3rd and even some times 3rd to 4th, became an adventure. With the drill out mod, this is usually solved. The adjustbale master is a great step up - fairly expensive but worth it.

Good Luck

David

If you have only bolt ons, and only a few trips to the track, I would go with Z06, new slave and just the drill out mod. The slave is sold separately, but is an easy install when you are doing the clutch.

BUT, if you want to do it all at one time, get the McCleod single disc, McCleod adjustable master, slave and drill out mod.

Either way, you'll have a very streetable, reliable clutch set up.
