If I am making 400 - 650 rwhp on a dynojet what would be the best clutch for me to purchase?

thats quite a range hp range. with 400 you would be fine with any stockish clutch like and LS6 clutch. with 650 alot of people like the monster stage 3, I just ordered my monster stage 3 Thursday so i don't have any experience with it yet, but almost everyone is happy with it.
What are your mods? If you don't have a 9", s60, or 12bolt and a upgraded drive shaft, all a good clutch is going to do at 475+ rwhp (maybe even lower than that) is break things, probably break the drive shaft first, then you will replace the drive shaft and your rear end is going to blow into a bunch of little pieces, ask me how i know.

How about the McLeod RST or RXT depending on how often you drag the car? I don't have many miles on my RST / Fidanza setup but so far so good.

The Diamond Clutch kits would be a great option, and they are on special for the month of May. Do some searches here and you'll find a ton of good feedback on them. They carry a one-year warranty. Probably the Stg 2 would be perfect. Good for 600hp/tq and still drives like stock. $690 shipped for the complete kit including a new chromoly alloy lightweight flywheel and new slave cylinder.

In the lower power range the ls7 is a great clutch. I'm running a McCleod twin.

We happen to be having a sale this month, give me a call and we'll go over your options based on your set-up. Chris, 817-750-2000
