Default Line Lock Q.

Just to clear things up.. Line lock locks the front brakes only keeping my rears safe....(as aposed to the sideways foot clutch/brake action) right..alowing me to just spin my tires to warm em up at the line. Do i need to try n shift into 2nd to get the tires spinning faster/hotter or is 1st gear sufficient? or should i clutch dump in 2nd already putting me in 2nd gear for burnout. Assume SPEC 3, 9", and et streets.

TIA..
S

I use first gear. Tried a 2nd gear burnout and the car jumps sideways.

Using the brake method to do the burn out, is it that hard on the rear brakes? Just wondering? I have heard of several individuals doing this with no problems. imput please

the way i see it, when you hit your brakes, the stopping power is 80% front 20% rear(i think thats right), so in essence. it would be like driving a little ways with the e-brake about 2 or 3 clicks engaged. Common sence tells me the only thing i could see it doing is premature wear on the rear pads, but im no expert
