Default Where ro buy rebuld parts for t-56

I just purchased a t-56 that needs a rebuild for my swap into my sonoma. I was wondering where I should buy the rebuild kit and what needs to be done to make it last. Really eho has the best kit for the money. Tranny won't shift 5-6 or downshift 6-5 very well.

Thanks for any info,
..RJ..

The Gear Box is where I get my parts. Better prices then other places, and if you use the buy it now option in his ebay store, you usually get free shipping.
www.thegearbox.org is his main site, and this is the ebay store http://www.stores.ebay.com/id=22284527&ssPageName=L2

I second the motion. The Gearbox seems like a good outfit. Talk to Kevin there. Don't go to the Ebay store.

I just recently bought a bunch of parts. Prices were fair and good customer service.

Is the syncro rebuild kit from d&d a better setup than the gearbox setup. I will be using it as a daily driver around 550 flywheel hp and would like to run it hard whenever I feel the need. but also want it to last, so i'd rather do it right the 1st time even if it costs more. Are the d&d bearing upgrades and should I replace them also?

Thanks for the info,
..RJ..
