Default Clutch help needed

I tried a search and didn't find anything that sounded like my issue. I've noticed this once or twice in the past but thought it was my imigination well today I KNOW for sure what I felt, I was getting on the highway and I hammered it through3rd 4th and 5th gear when the revs got high in 5th gear the clutch pedal seemed to go soft of fall away from my foot, it was definately not right. I let off and coasted down and it was back to normal. it does this ONLY at high rpm.

also look at where your car is parked and check for fluid . Sounds like a hydraulic issue

Do a complete flush and refill of the fluid. This is a common issue on these cars. You may want to opt for a more heat resistent fluid than stock and there are lots of available options. Also, make sure that the line that leads from the Master to the Slave is routed behind the heat sheild as it passes the header. You can wrap this line is a good protective wrap and this will help too. Give it a shot and let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

I Prestone DOT 4 as it has the highest boiling point of non-silicone fluid that I know of. Also curious how much power you are making, could possibly be the clutch has reached it's limit.

Let us know the results of your flush and refill. We can proceed with more info from that point if the problem persists. Thanks!

Mine took a good five times of flushing/driving a few hundred miles. The fluid is shot again, but my clutch is too now. I am going to replace all the hydraulics, do the drill mod on the master cylinder, get a speed bleeder, etc. If bleeding it a few times doesn't help out for the most part, the seals in the master cylinder could be toast.

High RPM shifts on the stock adjustable pressure plate causes your problem. IMO the best thing to do is buy a good, non adjustable clutch from a sponsor and JUST AS IMPORTANT, take it to someone who knows EXACTLY how to install one properly. I just did a re-do for a guy who took his to a shop that wound up using the old 10mm PP bolts in the 11mm flywheel holes among MANY other things!
