new southbend clutch (new gm flywheel, luk cover, kevlar disc, thier TOB,)

5 plus hours of bleeding, and it still wont fully disengage.
i have mytie vac'd it, gravity bled. and old fashioned pumped and crack bled it. going to try some other methods i've found on here this weekend.
just thought id vent, i just dont understand the tilted MC (air trap)
id rather push a wet noodle up a wildcats A$$. than do this jod again.

Checkout the "Does my setup need a shim?" thread. Lots of useful information but it will get you scratching your head... and there's a chance you may need to take it all apart and get some measurements. It sucks, I know. Ask me how I know...haha I'm getting really good at getting my T56 out

yeah i talked to them monday, the response was that it should't need a shim due to the fact that it is a GM flywheel, and a factory style LUK cover. they said to keep bleeding, and to try to find a pressure bleeder, im trying to find one local. no luck yet(one horse town)
i am also going to try the spark plug boot and line back into the resivior method. when i get back to work on it this weekend. any negatives about this method???
im not down on southbend, i install thier dual disc setups in dodge rams pretty often in our shop, they have a great product and good tech support.
thanks for your interest, will report back

i got impatient tnis weekend, after bleeding for a few more hours, a took my new MC off and turned it into the adjustable stock type and, and had imidiate results, i feel like the distances are correct on the clutch/TOB.
just that a orielly auto MC didn't have the power to release the clutch cover??(just my guess). i only spent a bout 3min bleeding it, so i will do more bleeding this weekend,
car is totally different, solid clutch and 4.56's
