Monster 11"
just bored and figured i would post a vid from last night, finally got some things sorted out on the car and problems fixed and back to turning some ok times. ive been running monster clutches for a while and have been loving them and the willingness to help and customer service they bring to the table, i cant say enough about steve and his guys. i dont really post many reviews but i figured id just show a bit of what the 11" clutches are doing.
The car put down 770rwhp a couple weeks ago on a 175 hit and the clutch never fluttered on the dyno.

i have been running a lot for the no prep street racing series thing our local track does so ets havent been great but clutch has been great doing awesome and they make us hot lap the hell out of the cars sometimes not even getting to shut the car off between rounds.

10.16@140

then made it out to a normal test and tune last night and got it to go 10.055@141.75 with a 2250 DA. 1.49 60' which is a little off from what im usually turning with these clutches.

these clutches also do as great on the street and are so easy to drive for something that holds so well.
id also like to thank RPM transmissions for building me a badass trans that is finally holding up to the abuse. another great group of people to deal with. ill get things dialed in better and be posting some 9 second slips here very soon.

I seen your car run from the grandstands thursday, looked like you were driving on ice from the 1/8th mile on, great driving skills to keep it under control on that track!! I'm glad to see a good single disc clutch holding up to such abuse and still be streetable, things have come a long way from 2002 when I was last really involved in the lsx world and an on/off twin disc was basically your only option lol...
Do you still have a stock synchro style T56 or has it been proshifted/faceplated? looks like theres a ton of really fast 6 speed cars in the tri-state area, I'm sure i'll be asking a lot of you guys for advice in the coming months lol

bump!!!!
just looking though some old posts and found this figured id update this.
still have the same 11" clutch in the car for 2 seasons now, and it just continues to impress me. i have had the car out racing just about every single week all summer long making pass after pass. id guess this clutch has prob close to 200 passes on it now. cars prob making around ~825-850rwhp right now and the clutch shows no signs of slipping, and 60's have been pretty consistantly in the 1.3x range. the car should see some 9.3xs this year yet with the weather getting better. i was hoping to push this clutch to the breaking point and find its limit before i put monsters new twin in but i cant seem to find it this thing will not die.
1.32 60' !!!! 9.51@143 lifting to got break out of a 9.50 index
9.46@148 1.40 60'
