Clutch Master Cylinder keeps failing!
So, just like the title says, my clutch master cylinder keeps failing. The clutch set up on my car is the Monster clutch level 3, upgraded slave cylinder, and the lightweight flywheel. So I'm thinking its the pressure plate or the slave that's killing it.
Are there any other possibilities? And the two master cylinders that went bad were Autozone and GM's rebuild kit. I'm getting an AC Delco put on now before I try an upgraded slave.

I'll get one when this one fails (since the shop is probably already working on putting it in since I don't do tranny/clutch work). But is the reason it keeps failing is because of the other upgraded parts?

To save the expense of fixing drivetrain parts under warranty, GM used a weak clutch master cylinder designed to keep shifting slow by limiting fluid volume and restricting it's flow. It's designed is flawed and it's failure rate is through the roof.
Our Adjustable Clutch Master Cylinder Kit is a much better alternative: http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...or-ls1-f-body/

Honestly, this is the truth.

A little less than a year and half old. I agree with what the guy is saying. shellin out $300 bucks for a part that can be fixed with a "free" mod is worth researching. Especially when the OEM master can be had for about 50 bucks.

you're not going to be fixing the fbody hydraulics with a free mod sorry man. the 300 dollar tick is well worth it. ive been there and done that with the drill mod and all new hydraulics and I STILL got locked out of 3rd... th only time i've ever missed a shift with my tick is when i wasnt paying attention
